Vishay Intertechnology
Vishay Intertechnology (NYSE: VSH) is a leading global manufacturer of passive and discrete semiconductor (active) components. In 2002, Vishay acquired BC Components, a former division of Philips NV, from Compass Partners International Limited, a UK private equity group. This transaction required regulatory approvals from six European countries and ranks among the largest European passive components transactions in history.

Mallory/North American Capacitor Company
Winchester originated and transacted the acquisition by Vishay Intertechnology of Mallory, an advanced manufacturer of aluminum electrolytic and wet tantalum capacitors. Located in Indianapolis, Indiana, Mallory is one of America's best known electronic component brand names. Founded in 1916, the P.R. Mallory Company was the former parent of Duracell.

Aerovox
Aerovox is North America's largest manufacturer of AC film capacitors. Founded in 1922, Aerovox, previously listed on NASDAQ, was acquired by Parallax Power Components in 2002. Winchester and Brown Brothers Harriman jointly received a sell-side mandate and co-advised Parallax Power Components in this transaction. Aerovox was sold to Buckingham Capital Partners, a New York based private equity group.
